Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatt, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood were announced as winners at the American Music Awards on Sunday night (November 23) in Los Angeles. In the country category, Paisley was nominated artist favorite male, with women earning Swift favorite artist. Rascal Flatts won favorite band, duo or group in the category, while Underwood Carnival Ride collected the trophy for favorite country album. Swift also performed on the show.
